A good place to start a journey to Angkor Wat… this is the Thai-Cambodian border.
For crossing the border a Visum is required. Sleepy officers charge in Dollars while chatting on Facebook.
It is 47° allready and temperatures are rising Every available space is filled with bottled water.
In real life Angkor Wat is a bit more complicated than this.
Siem Reap is the town next to Angkor Wat. Coz it is New Year Kids dressed in Barca, Bayern München and Milano shirts playing the water.
Hundreds of thousands travel from all over Cambodia to the tempels to pray for a Happy New Year 2559. So do we.

It seems like there is nothing that’s not breathtaking, amazing or un-fucking-believable.
A Little golden Buddha within a mountain of huge gray stones.
Walked around a corner or two and that’s were we rested. We stared five minutes at the stones before we saw the Buddha.
Next temple… there are another five hundred to be visited.
Meanwhile…. heavy battles are being fought on Angkor Wat’s wall…
… for a least 1000 years Elephants and Horses bring victory for the Khmer army.
