ในวันพระเยซูเสด็จขึ้นสูสวรรค์ (Christi Himmelfahrt) เป็น „วันพ่อ“ (Vatertag) ในเยอรมันด้วย เหล่าพ่อๆ หรือผู้ชายทั้งหลายจะพากันซื้อเหล้าเบียร์และไปเมามายกันในเมืองและตามท้องถนนเป็นการเฉลิมฉลอง
Strange enough Germans celebrate Father’s New Year on the Day of Jesus‘ Ascension. In the morning male population leave home to Play the Beer and to Play the Schnaps in the streets. In the evening roads are being covered with the bodies of „Vatertag“-casualties.
Vatertag in OWL… überall in Ostwestfalen ziehen Menschen mit Bollerwagen und Bier die Straßen entlang.
