PICTUREBOOK: Ven Island Dreams
Deutsche Leitkultur Blog by Christian Raum
Berlin, August 3rd 2017
Johannes Kepler was obsessed by the island of Ven. He has never been on the island. But he dreamed himself into Tycho Brahe’s star observatory. When Kepler wrote the first ever Sciencefiction novel he started on Ven island.
Traveling with Sickboy it is a relaxed journey, starting in Berlin Thursday after breakfast and arrive Brahe’s Uraniborg around Wednesday for lunchtime.
Denique reversus navis magister meque repetens repulsam tulit, valde
Mirum in modum mihi arridebant astronomica exercitia, quippe studiosi
