Still no plans for this year’s summer holiday? Why not ask your bicycle to travel with you along 13 parks, castles, fortress and lost cities in Silesia, Sudetes and Bohemia? Start in Berlin and ride 100 Kilometers East, cross the river and walk through the Valley of Love. Cycle southward to see the ruines of Küstrin. From there on it is an enjoyable journey along the river, through the hills, up into the mountain and back to the river again…

Dolina Miłości – Valley of Love – is a beautiful park right on the banks of Odra River close to Zatoń Dolna. Kostrzyn nad Odrą – today called „Poland’s Pompeij“ . The barbarian royal beheading at the castle (shown on the picture) of Prince Fritz‘ lover Hans Hermann von Katte made it famous and haunted for ever after.Gębice – Schloss Amtitz – home of Berlin’s filmstars and celebrities during the allied bomb raids in WWII. Zabór, castle of German’s last and fake Empress Hermine. The old „Fürsten Eiche“ oak next to the river was famous as oldest oak of France, Austria, Prussia, Germany, Russia and Poland.Zamek w Siedlisku overlooking the Odra river.
