Booked a passage for Sickboy and me. The Princess of Denmark will carry my dear cycle and me to Kobenhavn.
Ferry #15 over to Viking’s Kingdom of the Dead. Built for a Viking Princess and out of service for several hundred years.
Ferry #15 is a beauty…
Boarding #16… The Princess travels down Oslo sund and crosses Baltic Sea.
Passing Oscarborg again. The deck is crowded. Seems to be best known place all over Norway…
Stop over in Denmark’s capitol. Shipping is one of the main themes. Eat sleep and back on a ship.
After a long night and lots of beer on the ferry … unboarding Pommerania ferry #17 … we are in Poland now.
Świnoujście 1 … The car ferry crosses the Swine flow connecting Odra river and Balic Sea. There is a tastes of Old Berlin in the air allready..
Świnoujście 2 … the old navy bunkers. The very site where the Admiral Blücher battleship set sails to raid Oslo and conquer the royal treasures.
Świnoujście 3 … burial site … Oslo raids were revanged by allied bombings.
Sickboy’s facing the wind and the spray of the sea… Ferry #19 … 19!! Mission accomplished 🙂 Criss-Crossed-Criss-Crossed several thousand kilometers.. YAY
