Quando è passata la mezzanotte abbiamo lasciato il porto di Durrēs, e verso le otto del mattino successivo la costa italiana è stata un’intuizione. Se guardi indietro verso est potresti vedere la barca del pilota. Si è appena imbarcato per guidare la nostra nave in sicurezza nel porto di Bari.

When midnight passed we left Durrës harbour, and around eight o’clock next morning the Italian coast was insight. If you look back Eastward you may see the pilot’s boat. He just boarded to navigate our vessel into Bari harbour securly.
