Third day and I decided to leave Ven island. Traveling East following the traces of world’s first resesrch expedition.
After a long time of measure and calculate our astronomers came to the conclusion that all stars and planets were not really in the place of the universe to be found they choose for them before …. Hmmmm..
Shitty problem this is. What to do next? Sessions, meetings, discussion followed. The decision was to blame Kopernicus for not delivering accurate data some decades ahead.
A team of five or seven or ten star experts was assembled and been sent to Kopernicus‘ Observatory to proof read and proof measue old Nico’s results.
Main task was to measure Frombork’s nightsky using Brahe’s latest instruments and formulas.
Heyheyhooo! Let’s board the ferry to Råå. Why not follow the astronomer’s traces via Kristianstad and Karlskrona further to Poland’s Baltic Sea coastline?? Why not cycle along European Culture’s Ven-Frombork-Root.
Am Ende habe ich Piet am Telefon. Er sagt Kata sei gestorben. „Sie ist tot“, sagt er und dann sagt er es noch einmal und ich frage „was????“ … ein, zwei oder auch fünf Minuten …. Schweigen. Dann sage ich „ich rufe wieder an. Ich bin in Schweden“ und er sagt „ja“. Und ich sage drei- oder viermal ich würde wieder anrufen und ich sei in Schweden. Und er sagt immer wieder „ja ja ja“. „Ich rufe Dich wieder an“, sage ich und lege auf.
In dem Örtlein Träne steht dann der Regenbogen vor mir. Und er begleitet mich bis abends nach Kristianstad.
